Illustrated Graphic Poster for Music Festival – Custom Advertising Design

had an absolute blast creating this custom advertising design. Garden City Grooves is an amazing music festival in Victoria, BC that supports local and international soul, funk, and world music. They approached I DESIGN STUFF to create some custom graphic posters to promote all the different shows.

Some high resolution graphics were provided of the artists and I designed a custom piece for each night of music. There’s no difference between advertising design and creating a poster for a local show. The message must be clear, concise, informative, and pleasing to look at. Using colour, shapes, and some good design, I was able to achieve this campaign of uniform advertising design.
